Škoda Unveils UK Pricing and Specs for Upgraded Enyaq

Welcome, Net Zero News readers,
In an exciting development for electric vehicle enthusiasts, Škoda has unveiled the UK pricing, model line-up and final specifications for its refreshed Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé. This announcement comes hot on the heels of last week’s reveal of these revamped electric vehicles (EVs), marking a significant milestone for the brand.
First introduced to the market in 2020, the Enyaq range has undergone a comprehensive update, showcasing Škoda’s latest design ethos and cutting-edge technology. The enhancements extend to improved aerodynamics and a reimagined powertrain line-up, ensuring that the Enyaq remains at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution.
Starting from 6 March 2025, customers will be able to place orders for the updated Enyaq, which now boasts Škoda’s Modern Solid design language. This update aligns the Enyaq with the new Elroq compact electric SUV, enhancing its visual appeal while simultaneously improving aerodynamic efficiency. Notably, the Enyaq SUV and Coupé will feature larger alloy wheels, ranging from 19 to 21 inches, further accentuating their sporty aesthetics. Additionally, a new Olive Green metallic paint option joins the existing colour palette, offering buyers more choices to personalise their vehicles.
The revamped powertrain line-up has eliminated the entry-level 50 versions that were introduced last year, reinstating instead the 60 model. The new line-up now includes two battery sizes and three distinct powertrain options, ensuring that there is an Enyaq to suit a variety of driving needs.
The entry-level Enyaq 60 is equipped with a 63kWh (gross) battery, combined with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 204 horsepower (hp). This configuration delivers a torque of 310Nm and allows for a top speed of 99mph. Exclusive to the SUV model, the Enyaq 60 boasts a WLTP combined driving range of up to 268 miles. Charging capabilities are impressive, with the vehicle able to charge at up to 11kW AC and a rapid 165kW DC option, enabling a 10 to 80% charge in just 24 minutes.
For those seeking more power and range, the Enyaq 85 model is available in both the SUV and Coupé versions. It features an 82kWh battery and a more robust rear-mounted motor producing 286hp. This configuration allows for a swift 0-62mph acceleration in just 6.7 seconds, a top speed of 111mph, and an impressive WLTP range of 359 miles for the SUV and 365 miles for the Coupé. The larger battery can handle charging at rates of up to 175kW, allowing for a 10 to 80% charge in approximately 28 minutes.
For drivers desiring all-wheel drive, the Enyaq 85x model comes with an additional motor on the front axle, enhancing traction and stability. The all-wheel-drive variants offer a WLTP range of up to 332 miles for the SUV and 334 miles for the Coupé, making them an attractive option for those who frequently navigate varied terrains.
Škoda has introduced three trim levels at launch: SE L, Edition, and SportLine, which can be further personalised with various Design Selections and option packs. A high-performance vRS variant is also anticipated to join the line-up later.
The entry-level Enyaq SE L 60 SUV replaces the previously offered Enyaq 50 and comes equipped with a Loft interior Design Selection. Standard features include LED front and rear lights, heated front seats and steering wheel, and tri-zone climate control. Keyless entry, predictive adaptive cruise control, an electric boot with a virtual pedal, and a rear-view camera with front and rear sensors enhance convenience and safety. Additionally, wireless charging with cooling and a Drive mode select function are standard across this trim. The price for the Enyaq SE L 60 SUV starts at £39,000.
Next in line are the Enyaq Edition 60, Edition 85 SUV, and Enyaq SE L 60 SUV models, priced at £40,100, £44,300, and £46,200 respectively. The Edition variants bring a host of additional features, including Matrix LED headlights with animated indicators, an electric driver’s seat with a massage function, and power adjustment lumbar support for passenger seats. Unique Dark Chrome trim on the roof rails and window surrounds, dynamic headlight range control with integrated fog lights, rear side airbags, and manual blinds for the rear windows are also included, elevating the overall experience for the driver and passengers alike.
At the top of the launch line-up, the Enyaq SportLine 85x is priced at £48,750 for the SUV and £50,650 for the Coupé. This model comes equipped with striking 20-inch black alloy wheels, sporty bumpers, gloss black styling details, and the illuminated Tech-Deck face as standard, all complemented by sports suspension. Inside, SportLine models feature a head-up display, front sports seats, a sporty steering wheel, and a premium Canton sound system, ensuring a dynamic driving experience.
First deliveries of the new Enyaq are set to commence in the second quarter of 2025, and anticipation is building among consumers eager to embrace Škoda’s innovative approach to electric mobility.
With the new Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé, Škoda is not only enhancing its electric vehicle line-up but also reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and innovative design. As electric vehicles continue to gain traction in the market, Škoda’s refreshed offerings are poised to make a significant impact.
