Connekt EV Launches Charging Hub at Loch Lomond
Connekt EV Charging Opens First Rapid Hub at Scenic Loch Lomond
In an exciting move for electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts, Connekt EV Charging has unveiled its first rapid charging hub at the stunning Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond. This initiative is a significant step towards the company’s ambitious goal of establishing 100 rapid charging hubs across the UK. With modern facilities designed to enhance the EV charging experience, this hub marks a pivotal moment in the journey towards sustainable travel.
A Swift Charging Solution for EV Drivers
Connekt’s new hub features two state-of-the-art direct current (DC) chargers, offering a total of four connectors: one rapid charger with 60kW capacity and another with 120kW. This means that EV drivers can gain approximately 100 miles of range in just 35 minutes or 25 minutes, respectively. Such efficiency makes it easier for drivers to incorporate charging into their travel plans, ensuring they can enjoy the picturesque surroundings of Loch Lomond without worry.
Enhancing Scotland’s EV Infrastructure
This launch builds on Connekt’s previous collaboration with the Cameron House resort, where 24 EV chargers were installed at key locations. The partnership highlights a commitment to improving EV infrastructure in Scotland, making it more convenient for eco-conscious travellers to charge their vehicles while enjoying the natural beauty of the region.
Promoting Sustainability Through Innovation
Connekt is not just focused on expanding its network; they are also committed to sustainability. For every charger installed, the company plants a tree, contributing to carbon capture and promoting eco-friendly practices within the industry. This initiative aligns with the growing demand for sustainable solutions in travel and hospitality.
