Village Hotel Club Accelerates the UK’s Shift to Zero-Emission Vehicles with Ultra-Rapid Charging Points

In a significant move towards a greener future, the Village Hotel Club is set to install 380 ultra-rapid charging points across its 33 locations in the UK. This initiative, in partnership with Ionity, is a crucial step in supporting the transition to zero-emission vehicles—a key focus for environmentally conscious consumers and businesses alike.

Transforming Travel with Ultra-Rapid Charging

The new charging stations will provide an impressive output of up to 350kWh, enabling electric vehicle (EV) users to recharge their cars in record time. But this initiative isn’t just for hotel guests; the chargers will be accessible to the public and local communities, catering to all vehicle types.

Andreas Atkins, Country Manager for Ionity in the UK and Ireland, highlighted, “With the Ionity EV chargers attracting new footfall to sites, these hubs can inject hundreds of thousands of pounds into the local economies, helping local businesses and communities thrive.”

This collaboration is part of Ionity’s broader strategy to more than quadruple the number of publicly available charging stations and points in the UK by 2025.
