Compleo Launches Exciting Campaign at T+E Forum

Empowering Education: Compleo’s Charge Up Your Campus Campaign

As the world shifts towards a greener future, educational institutions have a pivotal role to play in embracing sustainability. Compleo is launching an exciting campaign, Charge Up Your Campus, aimed at urging universities, colleges, and schools to seize the opportunity of a limited government grant before it closes in March 2025. This initiative not only promotes electric vehicle (EV) adoption but also empowers educational establishments to electrify their car parks with minimal financial outlay.

Seize the Opportunity: A Grant for EV Charging Points

Compleo’s campaign will officially kick off at the Transport + Energy Forum at Warwick University on 21 November, where attendees can learn more about the initiative. Educational institutions can apply for a grant of up to £100,000 to install EV charging points, making it easier than ever to transition to electric mobility.

Why Now?

With tighter budgets in the education sector, this grant provides a vital lifeline:

  • Financial Relief: Institutions can receive 75% off the cost of purchasing and installing charge points, with a maximum of £2,500 per socket.
  • Flexibility: Although applications must be submitted by 31 March 2025, schools have 180 days to utilise the grant vouchers, allowing for financial planning into the next fiscal year.

Proven Expertise in the Education Sector

Compleo has a wealth of experience working with educational institutions, including Teesside University, King’s School Canterbury, and York College. They understand the unique challenges faced by the education sector and are committed to providing solutions that do not disrupt daily operations.

With over 15 years of experience in EV charging, Compleo is well-equipped to assist schools and universities in implementing these crucial infrastructure changes.

Key Benefits of the Grant:

  • Up to 40 sockets can be installed across various sites.
  • Previous applications made via the Workplace Charging Scheme can be included in the funding.
  • Supports the transition to a greener future, enhancing the reputation of educational institutions as leaders in sustainability.
