Andrew Usher named Group MD for Developments at Places for People

Places for People (PfP) has welcomed Andrew Usher as its new group managing director, a strategic move aimed at advancing the company’s ambitious development plans. Andrew, who previously served as PfP’s group development director, brings over 18 years of industry experience to his new role, having previously worked at Countryside Partnerships.
At PfP, Andrew will oversee the extensive development portfolio, including landmark projects like the Gilston Park Estate, featuring six villages and 8,500 homes, and the Camden Film Quarter, a revitalization initiative set to introduce new homes. His appointment comes at a crucial time as PfP seeks to address the national housing crisis and play a pivotal role in delivering much-needed housing solutions across the UK.
Scott Black, PfP’s group chief operating officer, expressed his confidence in Andrew’s leadership, highlighting the significant impact he has already made within the organisation.
