Cunninghame Housing Association Hosts Closing Ceremony for Development.

Cunninghame Housing Association recently marked a significant milestone with the completion of its latest new build housing development at Garven Road in Stevenston. The official closing ceremony was a celebration of the successful delivery of much-needed, high-quality, affordable homes for rent.

The event was attended by the Association’s board of management and staff, the main contractor Ashleigh, the design team, and partner organisations. Councillor John Sweeney, North Ayrshire Council depute provost, also graced the occasion and presented new tenants with the keys to their new home.

Linda Anderson, interim CEO at Cunninghame, expressed the Association’s commitment to providing high-quality homes for rent. She stated, “The Association is dedicated to delivering top-notch homes for rent, and we are thrilled that our new build development at Garven Road is now fully complete.”

“These 20 new homes for rent have all been allocated from the North Ayrshire Common Housing Register. They have been built with the invaluable support of our strategic partners, North Ayrshire Council and the Scottish Government, who granted £3.2m in Scottish Government Grant funding towards this project,” Linda added.
