Nissan unveils prices for powerful Ariya Nismo electric SUV

Nissan is making waves with the announcement of pricing and specifications for its high-performance Ariya model, which seamlessly combines Nismo handling and performance with Japanese-inspired design and daily practicality.

The latest addition to the electric crossover family marks the comeback of the Nismo performance brand in Europe, offering a unique blend of power and style for discerning drivers. Pre-orders for the Ariya Nismo open this week, with prices starting from £56,620. This makes it £1,780 more expensive than its predecessor, the dual-motor Ariya e-4orce 87kWh Evolve.

Under the hood, the Ariya Nismo packs a punch with 435hp and 600Nm of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0-62mph in just five seconds. While the exact electric range from the 87kWh battery is yet to be confirmed, one can expect an impressive performance from this powerhouse.

What sets the Ariya Nismo apart is its enhanced suspension system, designed to deliver precision, control, and confidence on any road surface. The steering system has also been fine-tuned to provide more direct feedback, while the braking system has been revamped for optimal performance.

Available initially in a single specification, the Ariya Nismo boasts a sleek Stealth Grey exterior finish, reminiscent of the iconic GT-R. Standout design features include unique seats, signature red accents, 20-inch alloys, and red Andon interior illumination, showcasing the distinct Nismo style.
