Fife Housing Group Keeps Top People Award

Fife Housing Group has once again proven its commitment to its employees by successfully retaining its Investors in People (IIP) Platinum Accreditation. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the group’s ongoing dedication to best practices and investing in its workforce to achieve sustainable results.
Investors in People has been a prominent international people accreditation for over 30 years, assessing more than 50,000 organisations across 66 countries. The Platinum Award signifies a deep commitment to creating a conducive work environment and underscores the belief that prioritising employee development is not just altruistic but crucial for long-term success.
This three-year Platinum status is in addition to the group’s existing Investors in People (IIP) ‘We invest in wellbeing’ Gold award, earned last February for its exceptional focus on employee wellbeing and mental health.
Employees from various departments played a vital role in attaining this accreditation, with the Colleague Consultation Group actively involved in supporting the group’s strategic objectives. The collaborative effort and dedication of colleagues like Alex Tweedie, who represents the housing team, have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.
Alex Tweedie shared his experience, saying, “Preparing for our IIP assessment was a fantastic opportunity for personal growth. It enabled me to engage with colleagues from different parts of the organisation and broaden my perspective. The hard work certainly paid off, and I take pride in being part of a company that values its workforce, tenants, and stakeholders immensely.”
Chief Executive Nicki Donaldson expressed her delight at once again securing Platinum status, emphasising the group’s profound appreciation for its employees as its most valuable asset. She reiterated the commitment to nurturing and supporting the workforce to continue delivering exceptional service to tenants and customers.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, commended Fife Housing Group for their outstanding achievement, highlighting the rarity and commendable effort behind attaining Platinum accreditation. He praised the group for understanding the significant impact of prioritising their people.
Fife Housing Group’s continuous success in retaining the IIP Platinum Accreditation underscores its unwavering dedication to employee development and well-being. As one of the leading Housing Associations in this arena, they serve as a shining example of how investing in people leads to sustained organisational growth and success.
