Rinnai delivers largest heat pumps yet, breaking record.
Rinnai, the leading provider of heating and hot water appliances, has recently embarked on delivering its largest ever order for commercial heat pumps. This significant order, valued at hundreds of thousands of pounds, was placed by HVAC contractors in collaboration with building services consultants and designers.
The heat pumps from Rinnai are currently being utilised on various commercial sites scattered across the North of the UK as well as the Strathclyde region of Scotland.
Chris Goggin and Tony Gittings from Rinnai express their enthusiasm, stating, “We are pleased to see the success of our strategy in providing customers with a wide range of heating and hot water appliances across multiple fuel options including gas, electricity, LPG/eDME, and other synthetic gases. Our approach involves creating Practical, Economic, and Technical criteria to guide product selection for each unique commercial or high-end residential site, such as accommodation or apartment blocks.”
“We go a step further by offering FREE system design, technical support, commissioning, and consolidated supply to the site in one single consignment. Our range includes heat pumps in standard sizes as well as larger units for bigger sites with heavier demands. Additionally, we offer Hybrid and solar thermal systems along with standard hot water heating units for auxiliary backup,” they added.
The Monobloc air source heat pumps from Rinnai come in various sizes, ranging from 4 to 110kW. With the ability to cascade up to seven units together, the Rinnai Monobloc air source Low-GWP heat pump technology is an excellent choice for meeting any heating or hot water requirements. The system’s versatility in switching between heating, hot water, and cooling modes ensures maximum flexibility and durability as standard.
Moreover, the Rinnai heat pumps are engineered to emit minimal noise, making them suitable for installation in areas with strict sound regulations. These units comply with stringent sound standards, ensuring quiet operation.
All Rinnai heat pumps utilise R32 refrigerant, known for its ability to reduce electricity consumption by up to 10% while having a lower global warming potential (GWP) compared to other refrigerants. R32 boasts a GWP one-third lower than traditional refrigerants. Rinnai’s HPI heat pump range is A+++ rated by ERP and offers the flexibility to switch between heating, hot water, and cooling settings.
Recently, Rinnai’s H3 LowGWP 55kW Heat Pump/Hybrid Hot Water Tanks, combined with cascaded continuous flow hot water heating units, were specified for a new project in the Farringdon district of London. This development encompasses a luxury hotel, a prestigious office complex, and affordable homes.
The HPI heat pumps, hybrid formations, electrical systems, and hydrogen gas mix powered water heaters are part of Rinnai’s H3 range of products. These new models aim to promote decarbonisation, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce customer costs by offering practical, affordable, and innovative solutions to customers across the UK.
With a commitment to providing clear pathways to lower carbon emissions, decarbonisation, and reduced costs for commercial, domestic, and off-grid heating and hot water delivery, Rinnai remains at the forefront of innovative solutions for the modern era.
