Jill Fraser and Peter Fotheringham appointed to Caledonia leadership team

Caledonia Housing Association (CHA) has recently bolstered its leadership team by appointing two new executive directors, bringing with them a wealth of experience and expertise to drive the organization forward.

Jill Fraser has taken on the role of executive director of operations, where she will be overseeing customer service, new build development, investment and regeneration, and support services. With a background in senior operations roles in the UK and Australia, Jill’s strategic leadership and programme management skills are set to make a significant impact on CHA.

Peter Fotheringham joins CHA as the executive director of finance, bringing his expertise in finance and treasury management, IT, and business improvement. As a Chartered Accountant and the current director of finance at the University of Dundee, Peter’s background in leadership roles at various organizations like Highland Spring Group and DC Thomson is sure to benefit CHA.

Both Jill and Peter are scheduled to commence their roles with CHA in mid-October, and they are enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the future strategy of CHA and make a positive difference for customers and communities across Scotland.

Expressing her excitement about joining CHA, Jill Fraser said, “I am delighted to be joining CHA at such an important time for social housing in Scotland. I’m looking forward to contributing to the future strategy of CHA and supporting the team to create positive change for our customers, fostering more sustainable, stronger communities across the country.”

Peter Fotheringham also shared his thoughts, stating, “Caledonia Housing Association has an excellent reputation and a clear vision to provide homes and services which make life better. This is a purpose I am passionate about, and I am delighted to be joining the team at CHA and look forward to playing my part in helping to ensure its future success.”

The creation of these new roles follows a thorough review of the executive structure at Caledonia Housing Association. This strategic move aims to position the organization for continued success, enabling it to drive business and service improvements, and effectively respond to emerging opportunities and challenges.

Julie Cosgrove, the chief executive of CHA, expressed her enthusiasm for the new appointments, stating, “I am thrilled to welcome Jill and Peter to our executive team. They bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their fields, which will help us to deliver on our organizational objectives and ensure that CHA continues to deliver growth, services, and support that positively impact our tenants and communities.”
