New Chair at Forth Housing: Andrea Finkel-Gates

Forth Housing Association Welcomes Andrea Finkel-Gates as New Chair

Following a successful AGM, Forth Housing Association has appointed Andrea Finkel-Gates as its new chair, bringing a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to the organization.

Kenny Hutton will continue to serve as joint vice chair alongside Ann Dickson, who recently stepped down from the chair position after two terms and five years on the committee. The association expressed its gratitude to Ann Dickson for her dedicated leadership during a challenging period as the organization worked towards compliance with the Scottish Housing Regulatory Standards. Despite stepping down as chair, Ann Dickson will remain a valuable committee member, offering support to Andrea in her new role and assisting the newest members of the team.

Andrea Finkel-Gates has been a member of the committee for two years and has previously chaired both the Audit and Risk and Staffing Sub Committees. With a wealth of experience in the sector, Andrea currently serves as the Chief Executive of Scotland’s Housing Network. Her leadership skills and dedication to providing high-quality housing solutions make her a strong choice for the role of chair.

Expressing her gratitude for the appointment, Andrea Finkel-Gates stated, “It is a privilege to be elected chair at Forth. We have an excellent management committee and staff team, all working together to deliver high-quality homes and top-class service to our tenants. I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to building upon our organization’s already high performance. Together, we will expand our portfolio through strategic development plans and enhance the lives of our tenants and communities. I extend my thanks to Ann Dickson, the past chair, for her unwavering support and commitment to Forth Housing Association.”
