CVHA hosts Scottish Housing Day triumph
Clyde Valley Housing Association (CVHA) recently hosted a successful event in support of Scottish Housing Day, welcoming customers to its offices. The theme of the event, ‘Homes for Life,’ served as a platform for valuable discussions that will directly impact Clyde Valley’s new Corporate Strategy, scheduled to launch in 2025.
Throughout the event, customers shared feedback and insights that will help shape the future of Clyde Valley’s housing services. The theme of ‘Homes for Life’ resonated with the association’s recent conference on ‘Lifetime Homes,’ highlighting its commitment to creating sustainable, long-term living solutions for communities.
Chief executive Carron Garmory expressed delight in the opportunity presented by Scottish Housing Day to explore the meaning of ‘Homes for Life’ with customers and the wider community. The event allowed for the sharing of future plans and receiving input from customers on how to collaborate in ensuring that homes remain suitable for the future.
Customer service director Fin Smith noted the strength of the partnership between Clyde Valley and its customers, emphasising the importance of customer input in evolving and developing the association. Customers provided valuable insights and ideas that will inform the new strategy, ensuring that the customer remains at the core of all activities.
The event concluded with a bus tour, enabling customers to have a firsthand look at some of Clyde Valley’s current property types in the Lanarkshire area.
