Support floods in for Kilbryde hospice

A housing support charity has generously donated over £2,000 to the Touch a Life, Make a Difference 2024 charity initiative, led by Provost Margaret Cooper. The initiative aims to inspire fundraising for local causes in South Lanarkshire, starting with Kilbryde Hospice as the first beneficiary.
This innovative partnership between the Lord Lieutenant of Lanarkshire’s office and the Provost’s Office has already garnered support from the council’s Housing Services Team, who raised the substantial sum of £2,200 for the fund. Provost Cooper expressed her gratitude, stating, “I would like to thank all the staff from Housing Services who went out of their way to raise money for our initiative. It will be put to good use, and we are well on our way to raising a significant amount of money for the Kilbryde Hospice.”
Executive director of housing and technical resources, Stephen Gibson, added, “We were all delighted to support this worthwhile cause, and I would like to thank the generosity of the staff who contributed.”
