Audi e-tron GT series: UK pricing & specs unveiled

Audi has unveiled its latest e-tron GT series, now available for order in the UK with prices starting from £107,730 (OTR). The delivery of the initial customer vehicles is scheduled for the summer months ahead.

The refreshed lineup features three variants: S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance. The latter model boasts an impressive output of 925PS, making it the most powerful series production Audi model to date.

Each version in the new e-tron GT series showcases a redesigned grille with a striking three-dimensional look. The front end is enhanced with pronounced airflow-optimising ‘curtains’, while the rear view is adorned with a new aerodynamic diffuser featuring vertical fins.

The iconic four rings logo has been updated to align with Audi’s latest corporate identity, both at the front and back. The specific model designation is now prominently displayed on the B-pillar. Additionally, the S e-tron GT models sport a new 20-inch multi-spoke wheel design, while the S e-tron GT Vorsprung variant steps up to a 21-inch aero wheel complemented by red brake calipers.

The RS e-tron GT performance, the first fully electric RS performance model, boasts the same standard specifications as the RS e-tron GT with the addition of ceramic brakes featuring anthracite calipers.

Interior accents have been updated across the range, and a new and enhanced version of the Audi virtual cockpit offers comprehensive battery and charging status information for the first time. This feature is part of the car’s digital connectivity technology, which includes various internet-based Audi Connect services and an app store accessible via the Audi wireless smartphone interface.

All three new e-tron GT models are powered by two electric motors utilising 800-volt technology, one mounted on each axle. The S e-tron GT delivers a maximum combined output of 680PS and accelerates from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds with launch control. The RS e-tron GT, with increased power to 856PS, achieves a remarkable acceleration time of 2.8 seconds with launch control. The new RS e-tron GT performance, with an astounding 925PS, sets a new benchmark with the potential to cover 0-62mph in an astonishing 2.5 seconds with launch control. The S e-tron GT has a top speed of 152mph, while the RS models are limited to 155mph.

An upgraded, lighter battery of 105 kWh offers a maximum driving range of up to 374 miles. Charging power has also been enhanced to 320kW, enabling the e-tron GT to be charged from 10-80% in just 18 minutes. Improvements to the predictive thermal management and regenerative braking systems have further enhanced charging efficiency and energy recuperation.

Adaptive air suspension is now a standard feature on the new e-tron GT for all variants, but has been extensively redeveloped. The S e-tron GT Vorsprung and RS e-tron GT Vorsprung models come equipped with a more sophisticated set-up known as active.
