Julie Haydon emerges victorious in the hotly contested election for the vice presidency of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), winning over 51 per cent of the votes cast. As the director of corporate services at Wolverhampton Homes, Julie Haydon defeated her fellow candidates Hony Premlal and Thomas Sutton to secure her new role.
Following the CIH’s annual general meeting in October 2024, Julie Haydon will officially assume her position as vice president. Expressing her gratitude, Julie Haydon stated, “I am truly honoured and humbled to have been selected as the next vice president of the Chartered Institute of Housing. All the candidates were deserving this year, and we should be proud of the immense talent within the CIH. I am enthusiastic about the positive impact that housing professionals can have on people, places, and communities.
