Raw Holdings comprises 42 homes for social rent, managed by Link Housing, alongside 33 mid-market rent properties let by C~urb Lettings. Sarah Smith, the Communities Director at Link Group, emphasised the importance of creating comfortable and enjoyable living spaces that enhance residents’ well-being. She highlighted that this initiative aligns with the Scottish Government’s Housing to 2040 route map and Link’s Sustainable Communities Strategy.

Smith expressed her delight at the progress of the Raw Holdings development, noting the positive impact it has already had on tenants like Patrica Jarvis. Funding for the project was provided through a partnership between Link, City of Edinburgh Council, and the Scottish Government.

Currently, 30 affordable rent homes and 10 Mid-Market Rent properties have been completed and handed over to Link. The remaining units will be available in phases, with the final handovers scheduled for October 2024.

In conclusion, the Raw Holdings development stands as a testament to the power of collaborative efforts in providing high-quality, affordable housing solutions that significantly improve the lives of individuals and communities.
