Peugeot cuts EV prices and offers Allure Care warranty.

Peugeot, the renowned French carmaker, has recently made significant moves to make electric vehicles more accessible and appealing to consumers. By slashing prices across its key electric car models and expanding its Allure Care warranty programme, Peugeot is showcasing its dedication to becoming the electric leader in Europe by 2025.
One of the most notable changes is the reduction in starting prices for the E-208 and E-2008 models by £3,000, making them more budget-friendly at £28,600 and £32,700 respectively. Additionally, the E-308 and E-308 SW have seen a price drop of £1,500, now starting from £38,550 and £39,750.
Peugeot’s strategic pricing adjustments not only aim to attract more environmentally conscious customers but also to support its vision of a sustainable future powered by electric vehicles. These changes align with the company’s goal of offering a wide range of mainstream electric vehicles to cater to diverse consumer preferences.
Moreover, Peugeot has extended its Allure Care warranty programme, initially introduced with the E-3008 model in early 2024, across a broader range of electric cars. This warranty now covers the E-208, E-2008, E-308, and E-308 SW models, and will soon include the E-5008 and E-408 as well.
The Allure Care warranty provides comprehensive coverage for crucial components such as the electric motor, onboard charger, transmission, and main electrical and mechanical parts for up to eight years or 100,000 miles. This extended warranty brings these components in line with the specific warranty for the high-voltage battery, ensuring peace of mind for customers making the switch to electric vehicles.
One of the standout features of the Allure Care warranty is that it is activated automatically and free of charge for two years (or 16,000 miles) following each service at Peugeot-approved aftersales service centres. This additional layer of protection enhances the ownership experience and demonstrates Peugeot’s commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Despite these enhancements to the warranty programme, Peugeot maintains its standard three-year warranty and up to 60,000 miles coverage on its passenger vehicles. This dual warranty structure caters to different customer needs and preferences, ensuring that all Peugeot owners receive optimal support and protection.
Eurig Druce, the managing director of Peugeot UK, expressed the company’s dedication to providing customers with a seamless transition to electric driving. By offering the widest range of mainstream electric vehicles in Europe, Peugeot aims to empower more individuals to embrace the benefits of electric mobility.
In conclusion, Peugeot’s recent initiatives, including price reductions and the expansion of the Allure Care warranty programme, underscore its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry. With a focus on customer-centric solutions and a diverse electric vehicle lineup, Peugeot is poised to lead the charge towards a greener and more electrified future.
