Riverside Dalmarnock Wins Scottish Home Award

Phase three of Riverside Dalmarnock, a joint venture between Link and McTaggart Construction, was recently recognised as the Age Exclusive Development of the Year at the prestigious Scottish Home Awards 2024. This accomplishment adds to the project’s previous accolades, including the Architecture: Regeneration award at the Scottish Design Awards 2022, Affordable Housing Development of the Year, and Housing Regeneration Project of the Year at the Homes for Scotland Awards 2022.

Colin Culross, the commercial director of Link Group and managing director of C~urb, expressed his delight at Riverside Dalmarnock’s consistent national recognition. He praised the project as an outstanding example of successful partnership work, offering a range of modern and affordable homes. Culross extended his gratitude to McTaggart Construction, Glasgow City Council, Hypostyle Architects, Laurel Homes, and all the individuals involved in delivering this award-winning development.

Riverside Dalmarnock, a mixed tenure development comprising 562 new homes, is a collaboration between Link Group and Laurel Homes. The development features a combination of affordable homes for rent, New Supply Shared Equity (NSSE) purchases, mid-market rent (MMR), and private purchases.

In the third phase of the project, 32 homes cater to general needs with affordable rent, 48 homes are designated for affordable rented retirement living, and 49 homes are allocated for mid-market rent. The funding for Riverside Dalmarnock has been sourced from Link, the Scottish Government, and Glasgow City Council.
