New ECOMOD Heat Pumps from Ideal Heating.

Ideal Heating Commercial has introduced its latest generation ECOMOD heat pumps, featuring natural refrigerants. Leading the way is the ECOMOD 290HT, with ECOMOD CO2 set to debut later this year.

The ECOMOD 290HT is a monobloc air source heat pump capable of reaching temperatures as high as 75°C, all thanks to its ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) of just three, attributed to the utilization of R290 natural refrigerant. Having an ultra-low GWP not only benefits the environment but also makes practical sense as high GWP refrigerants become scarcer and more costly.

Offered in three chassis sizes and five outputs ranging from 15kW to 50kW, the ECOMOD 290HT has been specially crafted for use in larger commercial establishments and can be integrated in cascade for even greater outputs. These cutting-edge heat pumps can also be combined with other Ideal Heating commercial solutions like the EVOMAX 2 and the IMAX XTRA 2 commercial condensing boilers to construct a low carbon hybrid heating system.

Capable of reaching temperatures of up to 75°C, the ECOMOD 290HT is perfect for Domestic Hot Water (DHW) applications and district heating systems. Moreover, with the potential of not needing to upgrade radiators with the ECOMOD 290HT, it presents a practical, cost-effective solution for retrofit installations.

The ECOMOD 290HT boasts a high efficiency rating and an impressive co-efficient of performance (CoP) rating of up to 4.94. These heat pumps are equipped with an inverter-controlled compressor to precisely match the heat demand based on specific requirements, further enhancing a building’s efficiency. With noise levels as low as 64dB(A), the ECOMOD 290HT operates quietly.

All ECOMOD 290HT models indicate the output at Air 7°C and Water 35°C.
