New Website Launch for Fife’s Ethical Letting Agency

An ethical letting agency, Fife Private Rental Solutions (FPRS), launched by the local homeless charity Trust in Fife last year, has recently unveiled its new website. The agency’s primary focus is on preventing homelessness and providing assistance in accessing and sustaining accommodation in the private rented sector, while also addressing any housing issues related to private rented properties.
The newly launched website, available at fifeprivaterentalsolultions.co.uk, caters to prospective tenants, tenants, landlords, and letting agents in Fife, offering a range of support services to meet their specific needs.
Aside from the website launch, FPRS now offers a comprehensive range of services. For landlords, the agency provides a variety of paid services, including one-off services, let-only, and full property management services at competitive rates, owing to its non-profit status. Additionally, several free services are available, such as general advice, issue resolution, tenancy assistance, and mediation between landlords and tenants.
Tenants can benefit from FPRS’s free services, which include general advice, help with tenancy sustainment, issue resolution, rent resolution, advanced income maximisation, and deposit assistance services.
Moreover, FPRS offers letting agencies a customised free service to support their tenants in maintaining their tenancy. This service includes tenancy assistance, income maximisation, rent resolution, mediation, and the newly introduced deposit assistance service.
One notable service provided by FPRS is the deposit assistance service, wherein the team can access cash funds to help tenants pay their deposit, either in full or partially, and ensure it is lodged in a deposit scheme. Two schemes are available based on the individual’s financial situation.
The Advanced Income Maximisation (AIM) service aims to increase the income of clients in private lettings or those seeking one. To date, the team has assisted 24 individuals in obtaining backdated benefits totalling £55,722.60 and helped 39 people increase their monthly benefits by £17,119.63.
Furthermore, the Rent Resolution Service (RRS) provided by FPRS aids tenants facing rent arrears by offering mediation, creating manageable payment plans, and identifying available grants to clear the arrears, all geared towards retaining the tenant in the property.
