Ian Phillips appointed new MD at Robertson Construction Northern.
Ian Phillips has taken on the role of the new managing director at Robertson Construction Northern following the retirement of Frank Reid, who dedicated 43 years to the company. With over thirty years of experience in the industry, Ian’s promotion follows six years of success as the operations director at Robertson Construction Northern, a trusted partner in Moray, Highlands & Islands, Lochaber, and Aberdeenshire.
During his previous role, Ian Phillips played a crucial part in delivering several prominent projects within the region, such as the £24m Inverness Justice Centre, the £60m single living accommodation project at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lossiemouth, and developments at The MacAllan.
Expressing his excitement about his new position, Ian Phillips said, “Robertson Construction Northern is a thriving business with a strong customer base and an exceptional team. I am stepping into this role at a pivotal time in our sector, where we collaborate with our customers to execute quality projects and assist them in achieving their net zero objectives through decarbonisation and new build programmes. Ricky Brown has been appointed as the operations director for Robertson Construction Northern. With vast experience in overseeing successful large-scale projects for Morgan Sindall and Galliford Try, Ricky will assist Robertson Construction Northern in managing its strong pipeline of work and identifying new opportunities.
