New Tesla Model 3 Boasts Record 460hp

Tesla has unveiled its latest offering, the Model 3 Performance, the most powerful version of the electric saloon yet, now available for purchase in the UK. This new iteration arrives six years after the initial Model 3 Performance, following a recent facelift for the entire Model 3 lineup.
Priced at £59,990, the Model 3 Performance comes with a £20k premium over the entry-level Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive. However, this price increase comes with a host of upgrades in design and technology, enhancing both performance and handling.
Similar to its predecessor, the Model 3 Performance features a dual-motor setup powering all four wheels. However, it now boasts an extra 3hp of power, bringing the total to 460hp. This increase allows for a quicker 0-60mph time of just 2.9 seconds, down from 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 163mph.
Some exciting new features in the Model 3 Performance include adaptive damping technology, an upgraded chassis for enhanced stiffness, high-performance brakes, and the latest-generation Track Mode. This mode enables drivers to customize handling balance, stability controls, and regenerative braking to suit their preferences.
While maintaining the latest design updates from the recent facelift, the Model 3 Performance stands out with its more aggressive styling and 20-inch forged aluminium wheels.
On the inside, the Model 3 Performance offers new Sport Seats that provide additional lateral support, with the option for heated and ventilated seats. Additionally, the vehicle boasts a carbon-fibre trim with a unique weave pattern, a first for Tesla.
Customers can expect the first deliveries of the Model 3 Performance to begin later this quarter, offering a thrilling driving experience with its enhanced performance and stylish design.
