Homes for Scotland reveals 2024 awards shortlist.

Sector body Homes for Scotland (HFS) has released the shortlist for its 2024 awards programme, focusing on how members are addressing the housing needs of those living in or wishing to reside in Scotland.

The awards aim to highlight examples of best practices and innovation provided by HFS members across the country. The companies making the judges’ cut include:

The judges aim to acknowledge those showcasing innovative and impactful projects and practices that create new high-quality living spaces and have positive social, environmental, and economic impacts on customers and communities.

The independent panel will conduct site visits to all shortlisted projects in the Development of the Year categories and senior management interviews to determine the winners. The winners will be announced at the Homes for Scotland Annual Lunch at the EICC on Friday, May 17, sponsored by Burness Paull.

David Knight, former managing director at Avant Homes and Chair of the independent judging panel, expressed his honour at being part of the judging process for these prestigious awards. He mentioned the high standards and passion of the entrants, noting the tough task of selecting the winners among the high-calibre developments, processes, and practices.
